Local control, cloud when needed
Features designed for local control can work without internet. Remote access and some additional services need a connection.
Access control, intercoms, heating and cooling, metering, EV charging and resident requests, all connected. UpHome helps building teams work more efficiently—with GPT or Claude where useful, or without AI.

Business value
Developers can plan connected systems from the outset. Building teams can track events and resident requests in one place. Residents can access everyday services from one app.
For developers
Coordinated systems from the design stage.
For operators
Events, permissions and requests in one place.
For residents
Door entry, bookings and notifications in one app.
Features
Access control, intercoms, license plate recognition, metering, heating and cooling, lighting, shading, EV charging, bookings and resident communications all serve the same building. They work better together.
Features designed for local control can work without internet. Remote access and some additional services need a connection.
Digital keys, video intercom, mobile access and licence plate recognition.
Heating and cooling control, sub-metering and leak detection.
Lighting, motorised shading and audio for apartments and common areas.
Consumption data, device status and events for building teams.
Door entry, home control, bookings, notifications and requests in one place.
Controllers, locks, sensors, cameras and chargers can be connected. We select supported devices to fit each project.
Open APIs and supported device integrations make later expansion possible. Compatibility depends on the specific equipment and system design.
AI support
Residential buildings generate readings, events and resident reports. GPT and Claude integrations can help summarize them, spot connections and distinguish between apartment issues, shared building systems and external providers. They work only with authorized data.
An example from operations
Report
A resident reports that their apartment is not heating properly.
Review the data
The building manager reviews available temperature and equipment data, along with earlier reports.
Possible causes
AI can help identify whether to check controls inside the apartment, central equipment or the utility provider.
Assign the next step
The building manager decides who should handle the issue and passes on the relevant information.
AI – optional
UpHome’s essential building functions do not require GPT, Claude or any other AI service. AI access can be enabled, limited or disabled. Which features work locally and which need internet depends on the installation.
AI integrations
The operator connects UpHome to ChatGPT or Claude with their own admin account. The assistant only sees the projects that account can open, and it only reads: it does not change settings or switch devices.
A weekly status report from one question: which controllers are offline, which issues are open and what the suggested next step is.
“Which apartments have an offline controller right now?”
Comfort and consumption checks: which apartments do not reach the set temperature and why, and what the heat, cooling and water meters show.
“Why is the apartment on the third floor cold?”
Building and controller status
Online and offline controllers and devices, open issues with an explanation.
Heating and cooling per apartment
Room temperature, target, humidity and history.
Meters and consumption
Heat, cooling and water meter readings per apartment, where meters are installed.
Read-only, with your permissions
Sign-in with the admin account; the assistant does not change anything.
In everyday use
The system helps track consumption, use resident services and manage access. These functions do not require AI.
Access control
Manage access for residents, guests, service providers and maintenance teams by door, area and time. Access control can also connect to intercoms, elevators and parking.
Events can be reviewed according to the configured logging policy. Authorized staff can also update access rights remotely.
Credentials
Cards, fobs, mobile app and PIN codes.
Remote management
Manage permissions from any device.
Entry log
A searchable record of entry events.
Alerts
Notifications about unauthorised entry attempts.
Keyless entry
Mobile, card or PIN.
Scheduled access
Time rules for staff and visitors.
Intercom & cameras
Event-linked video and intercom.
Expandable
From one door to several buildings.
Usage data
An overview of entry activity.
Building operations
Bring together data from building systems, access control, cameras, sensors and resident services. Whether each function works locally or needs internet depends on the installation.
Buildings, devices, residents and operational matters in one place.
Alerts for operators; climate, bookings and access for residents.
Consumption data, cost allocation, HVAC fault alerts and leak detection.
Thermostats, locks, lighting, intercoms, cameras and sensors.
A clear view of how amenities and common areas are used.
Connections to property management, accounting, CRM and custom systems.

Software plus hardware
UpHome does more than display data. Installed controllers, access devices and automation run in the building; apps and optional cloud services connect to them.
Plan the building infrastructure
Map doors, apartments, common areas, networks, panels, controllers and handover requirements.
Commission the on-site system
Install controllers, access devices, thermostats, sensors, lighting, shading and automation logic.
Launch the resident and operator apps
Onboard residents, staff and operators to the app and the operator dashboard.
Who it serves
Developers
Access control, metering, automation and the resident app can be coordinated from the design stage.
Operators
Resident requests, meter readings, events and permissions in one place.
Residents
Door entry, climate control, booking shared spaces, notifications and requests from one app.
Portfolio managers
Standard workflows, clear support and open integration with property management systems via APIs.
